A minimal two storey extension to a semi-detached 1930's house is an efficient use of the additional volume.  The effective plan allows greater use of the existing footprint and provides an extra double bedroom and new family bathroom at first floor with minimal construction. The ground floor provides a light-filled open plan kitchen and living space, with utility and downstairs wet-room.
